This period cottage in Birchington keeps its original beams and log burner alongside a fully modernised kitchen and bathroom. It's a short walk from the seafront, and close to Birchington's shops, pubs and train station.
The living space centres on the log burner and a bar area — a good spot for evenings in. Upstairs, a spacious double room has its own ensuite, plus a separate downstairs toilet. A second bedroom with a king bed is reached via stairs from the main bedroom — mind your head, as ceilings are low in places.
Guests have full use of the property and the outside courtyard, which has shared access from the property next door — please note it isn't fully secured for pets. Parking fits a small car, with free alternative roadside parking nearby. Firewood isn't supplied but can be bought locally, or arranged in advance on request.

"Had a lovely few nights get away for my birthday with my toddler & dog. The space is beautiful & clean & felt like I was right at home. It is a lovely place to escape the busy city life. The steps are steep but lots of handrails for support. The door latches are up high so my toddler couldn't undo the door. We found a lovely Italian restaurant only a few minutes walk away and a very short drive to Minnis Bay. Can't wait to come back again x"
